Ode to Walter

I have decided to put my Intro to Creative Writing skills to the test in order to commemorate something we will all miss most about the class. Walter. Ye whose brain is wider than the sky, are an inspiration to us evermore. Let us celebrate our unofficial prince not of Denmark but of El Salvador. The mighty fixer of the projector stays humble, never pompous. Let us grace the gods. for gifting us with our own Adonis You who exudes a boundless joy, go forward with ambitions. Each morning combating our merciless northern winds. Take this lyric as a parting gift, Further, As you make your leaps do be aware you will be missed. Memories of this room, our collective heart keeps. This was the most fun I've had writing a poem in a while, I hope you all enjoyed it. I'd say it encapsulates the class environment throughout the semester and I'm glad this new work exists.
